Personal Summary

I am qualified Doctor of Medicine from Ambo University in 2017, MSc in Tropical & Infectious diseases and BSc in medical laboratory technology from Addis Ababa University in 2011 and 2008 respectively. I have dream to maintain and promote standards of excellence in performing and advancing the science of Medicine.

  My Research thesis focuses on Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain typing by means of molecular methods. This method is an important instrument for TB surveillance, control, and prevention. I have identified several new strains of M. tuberculosis for the first time, which has not been reported to SITVIT data base.  I have international publication, on International Journal of Tuberculosis and lung Diseases 17(2):246–250, Titled with Spoligotyping of multidrug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates in Ethiopia (2012).I have been very excited by the idea of becoming a scientist.
